Hello Let me first tell you my setup. vsa 3.0 ennttec open usb-dmx converter controlling chauvet led splash jr.s.
after attempting to run the BOC (which uses dmx to program itself, and which i never got working) in line with my other lights, my LEd splashes no longer work in VSA for some reason. they work fine in enntec lightfactory and i can get my dimmer board to read from vsa, but the ledsplashes no longer work in vsa. any ideas? can anyone help?

What brand lights?
Have you tired to connect the lights direct to the Enttec box without any other deviced
Have you taken into account VSAs address offset?.... NOTE thte Chauvet CS lights have a dummy channel at the start.
what problems did you have with the configure software?
Did you remember to put a terminator on the skull when you tried to configure? _________________ Bryan Davis

| They are the chauvet CS lights. they WERE working before i tried programming my BOC. I'm not saying this is what caused it. Yes they are properly addressed in vsa. I never got the BOC to work (not even the LED eyes) nor do i have to mess with it, i just want the lights working. do the CS lights have some kind of firmware i could have messed up while attempting to program the BOC? |

with chauvet CS lights you use the same address on the lights as you use in VSA
make sure that you have switch 10 in the ON position as well as the address switches, the default settings for Skulltronix routines as 4,6,10 and 2,3,6,10.
there is no way you can reprogram the lights using BoC config.
is all else fails write a routine that flashes 10 consecutive channels between 0 and 255 and set your light address to the mid position of this block and see if you get a response _________________ Bryan Davis

Make sure the port in the VSA settings dialog is Enttec-0. I was frustrated at first because I had the addresses set correctly, but didn't have the DMX box plugged into the PC when I was programming, and couldn't figure out why they didn't work. It was because the port said None.
