As an alternative to using a DVD player you can use Skulltronix's Exorcist haunt controller to control the playback of Ghostbust routines, and either loop the playback or set the playback to trigger off of mat switches, PIR sensors etc.
Its recommended that when you use Exorcist in this way then you use a PC with a dual monitor graphics card or better still, most modern Laptops include a dual monitor function.
Exorcist is programmed to automatically detect the second monitor, and when it does it will playback video files to it automatically, if there is no second monitor detected then the video files will be played back to the main monitor, hiding the Exorcist control interface.

In case it's not obvious in Bryan's post, using Exorcist requires that you run the video off of a PC. Using Exorcist in this way is very cool, as it allows you to synch the bust with a VSA routine and/or trigger it with mat switches or other triggers, etc. Very high-tech.
