Exorcist and DMX skull control from same laptop?I'm thinking of buying an exorcist, because I want to control ghost bust (with video on hard drive), and skulltronix skull from one laptop...
Because I already have the Entec for skull, and due to the fact that this laptop has only ONE USB port, does the exorcist require another USB port?
If it does, will a USB hub work?

yes you do need a second USB port
yes a hub will work, provided its a good quality powered hub
....however.... how old is this laptop? has it got a second monitor option?

it's an HP Omnibook, just a few years old...it does have a second monitor option...I think I can guess where you are going... one for VSA and one for ghost video?

yup, Exorcist identifies if there is a second monitor (ie projector) and automatically sends the played video image to it, leaving the laptop screen for normal use.
If there is no second screen option then everything goes onto the main monitor and ts a bit impractical
