DMX assistanceI have a skulltronix skull. Would like to add Some DMX lights that I have to the routine. I configured a 4 channel DMX light with a seperate address (55) to the routine but get no response from the light at all. I also have a 7 channel DMX light that I have attempted to add to the routine but when I configured and hooked everything up the skulltronix would not function properly ( all movements on the skull became jerky and mixed.) Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong? Everything works great without the lights. I also have the exorcist to add more routines.

Firstly check that you have the correct addresses on the lights, VSA addresses are normally 1 lower than the address on the lights
try the lights without the skull, we have found that there are a bad batch of dmx out cables for the skulls which can be resolved by putting the skull on the end of the DMX chain not at the start
make sure you use a terminator

That was the problem exactly! Thanks, I was just about to go crazy trying every possibility available. Can I send the defective cable back for a repalcement?
