DMExorcist InputsCan the DMExorcist be triggered from events on the host PC such as SendKey events originated from a VB script?

hm... that's not really a feature that I've seen a need for yet, and I wonder what the need may be.
Exorcist has really been designed to make programmable PC control possible for people without programming experience, so it doesn't really have any hooks for remote control.
On the other hand I've felt that if someone was able to write a script to do what your suggesting then they could probably develop their own application that's specifically tailored to their own need.

My thinking on this is that I already have Magic Motion which will allow me to control the skull in real time. I'm working on animated arms. I'd like to build a quick visual interface that would allow me to call some canned arm movement routines. Given my technology background I could probably research the drivers and figure out how to resolve the single interface to the ENTTEC dongle on my own but since you've already solved the issue I'd rather buy your solution and spend my time on hardware and routine development. I understand that there are buttons on the interface box and I could also use the IR but I think that may be cluncky when working in real time. I'd rather use VB to build a quick touch-screen interface that could send commands to DMeXorcist.

Why not use the macro function in MM to create a few poses?
You would not be able to piggy back onto the MM Enttec interface, serial communications like this are selfish, and once one application has control over the interface it locks other programs out of it.
This is especially true of the Enttec Open interface, as the PC is constantly communicating with it, and there would be no way a second program could address it.
A future line of development for MM could be a means to play routines in the background whilst controlling the Skull Live, Ill have to give it some thought.
