Would anybody have any advice for a newbee using the VSA software.

Yes, there is a reason why Mikes routines are so awesome, he crafts them entirely by hand and with good reason.

The Wave Analysis is backward, when the mouth should be closed it is open and vice versa. I tried switching the Min/Max settings, but it says the Max setting must be greater than the Min. Is there any way around this for us that want to create our own routines, but need help with the jaw syncronization?

In the VSA tools menu select WaveMotion Analysis, this will open a parameters window, the scale is the 6th value down 'Scale (%)' set this to -100 and you will get the same scale but it reverses the motion
